The work of the contract can be described as the following: 1. The facility will be located on City-owned property 230 E Pkwy, Gatlinburg, Tennessee. 2. The Gatlinburg City Hall Public Safety Addition includes approximately 24,800 square feet of new construction. The three-story addition will connect to the ground floor and first floor of the existing City Hall and Fire Hall buildings. The Public Safety Addition will provide a commissioning chamber that serves as an emergency operations center, offices, training and conference rooms, and a centralized public entrance to the municipal complex. The project also includes approximately 9,200 square feet of renovation area. The existing fire hall will receive an automatic sprinkler system, updated mechanical systems, fixture and finish updates, and some space reconfigurations. The city hall and police station will receive some modifications where connecting to the addition. The sitework consists of a new retaining wall for the ground level of the building, reconfigured parking and drive aisles, monument sign, site lighting, and relocated flag poles. The exterior materials on the Public Safety Addition consist of cast stone panels, metal panels, timber wrapped steel, stacked stone piers, asphalt shingles, and membrane roofing. The existing City Hall and Fire Hall will receive façade material upgrades to coordinate with the addition. 3. The site is as exists. 4. The Owner’s budget is $12,000,000.00 to $14,000,000.00.
