Scope of Work Contractor shall furnish all materials, lifts, permits, labor, tools, support equipment and miscellaneous incidentals or supplies not specifically listed in this specification, but needed for the proper installation, or to meet the intent of this specification. Contractor’s price shall include all mobilization and freight charges for this work. Contractor shall remove two (2) existing Sullair model # ES8-20XH/A/SUL air compressors and associated components and replace with two (2) new Atlas Copco Full Feature Rotary Screw air compressors with refrigerated air dryers and 120- gallon (minimum gallons required per air compressor) air receivers or approved equal. This work shall take place at Pace South Division located at 2101 W. 163rd Place, Markham Illinois 60428 It is the Contractor’s responsibility to examine the substrates and field conditions to determine if all aspects of the new air compressors and related components installation are satisfactory. Contractor shall not proceed with any work or order any material until any unsatisfactory conditions have been resolved, so that the specified intent of this document will be met, and to ensure that no additional material or labor is required above the dollar amount of this contract. Contractor shall verify that all materials, product specifications, and installation criteria called out for in this specification including but not limited to model numbers, dimensions, voltage, and amperages ratings are correct for this project. Contractor shall adhere to all applicable local municipality, state of Illinois, National Electrical Codes (NEC), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 70E, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) refrigerant disposal regulations and requirements while performing this work. Contractor shall include with their bid package the manufacturers’ general product data material on the new rotary air compressors and air dryers that they are proposing.
