The overall objective of this project is to maintain, support, and enhance the existing web-based data collection and analysis system, known as NJDOH Internet-Based Patient Safety Adverse Events Reporting System (PSRS) to support the responsibilities of NJDOH under the current directives established by the Patient Safety Act (“The Act”) (N.J.P.L. 2004, c.9). The Contractor shall be responsible for maintaining and monitoring the health of the system including, but not limited to being aware of unexpected outages. The Contractor shall be familiar with national models, current clinical and health services research and clinical practice guidelines related to Serious Preventable Adverse Events (SPAE), less serious adverse events, near misses, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
