A. Installation: The Contractor shall install all new equipment required to replace the fire alarm system, and may be required to install new devices located in areas of the building that are not currently protected and monitored. B. Code-Compliant: The Contractor shall ensure the current fire alarm wiring is codecompliant and adequate for the new fire alarm system. Any fire alarm system shall be installed to be compliant with the NFPA 72 code requirement and the City of Davenport's local fire code. C. Install Requirements: The various functions and types of work required to install the equipment purchased in conjunction with this Request for Proposal. Any technical omissions of functions or types of work within these specifications but obviously necessary for the proper completion of the work shall not relieve the Contractor from furnishing, installing or performing such work where required to the satisfactory completion of the project. The Contractor shall include all costs associated with installation in its proposal price and shall not identify installation costs as a separate item.
