Greene County Government is seeking an experienced firm to develop a comprehensive Economic Development Strategic Plan. This plan will serve as a blueprint for the county’s economic development efforts over the next 3–5 years, focusing on industrial recruitment, regional collaboration, leadership development, and actionable strategies. The selected firm will be tasked with creating a forward-thinking plan that includes: 1.Industrial Recruitment Strategy: Evaluate target industries, including ag-biotech, and assess the county’s ability to attract and retain them. 2.Shared Vision Development: Facilitate the creation of a unified vision informed by macroeconomic trends. 3.Regional Collaboration: Leverage Greene County’s position within the NC Global TransPark Economic Development Region to enhance partnerships and competitiveness.
