The work to be performed consists of, in general, the construction of domestic water storage tank and booster station for the City’s domestic water system. The work includes, but is not limited to, erosion protection, site grading with export of spoil material, foundation preparation, construction of a masonry pump building, furnishing, and installing piping, valves, electric turbine booster pumps, motor control equipment and related electrical with PG&E service, waterline tie-in, water storage tank (reservoir) with specified appurtenances, disinfection, a standby electric power supply, SCADA system, and testing, for a complete, fully operational water storage and booster system. Also, site improvement work includes, but is not limited to, storm drain with tie-in, masonry retaining walls, curbing, curb and gutter, concrete swale, ADA commercial driveway, site lighting, motorized chain link rolling gate, manual rolling gate, masonry wall, base and paving, and all other items required with the plans and these special provisions. Related items to execution of the work include: notification to property owners, incidental traffic control, notifications to Calwater for coordination of SCADA, waterline tie-ins, and disinfection procedures, and installation of the chlorine injection system; permitting (fees will be paid by City), compliance with all regulatory agencies, location and searching out of existing utilities, and all other incidentals needed to properly execute all items necessary for the completion of all specified work
