1. Retaining Existing Mortise Locks: o Mortise Locks: Retain all existing mortise locks across both sites, replacing only the cylinders inside these locks with new Schlage cylinders compatible with the newly designed keyway configuration. o Ensure all mortise locks remain fully operational and secure, with only internal components (cylinder and pins) rekeyed. 2. Rekeying and Cylinder Replacement: o Rekey 163 units and controlled areas, including maintenance/storage and electrical rooms. o Replace cylinders with Schlage cylinders compatible with the current keyway, ensuring consistency. o Rekey cylinders to match the master key system while maintaining the same keyway. 3. Audit Control Cylinders: o Install Audit Control Cylinders at high-security access points such as main entry doors and restricted areas. o Audit Control Features: Record date and time of key usage, with data retrievable through specialized readers and software. o Provide a detailed audit trail to enhance accountability and key access monitoring. 4. Keyway Integrity and New Master Key System: o Introduce a new keyway system, replacing the existing one to enhance security and eliminate outdated or compromised keys. o Redesign the master key system to align with the new keyway, ensuring appropriate access levels across different areas. o Issue non-duplicable keys that cannot be copied without authorization, safeguarding against unauthorized access. o Deactivate all obsolete keys. 5. Testing and Final Inspection: o Test each lock and cylinder post-installation to verify proper operation with the new master key system. o Ensure accurate data logging and retrieval for audit-controlled cylinders. o Conduct a final inspection to confirm full functionality and security of the key system
