Furnish all labor, equipment, and materials to deliver ready mix concrete to various locations in accordance with the enclosed specifications. 1. UNIT COSTS: Unit cost provided on the bid document shall be utilized to determine the cost basis. 2. PAYMENT: The City intends to make monthly payments to the successful vendor on receipt of the service as outlined in the specifications. If a vendor desires a different payment schedule, please indicate in your bid. 3. RESERVATION OF RIGHTS: The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any technicalities in the bid process, to award any bid or portion of a bid which is deemed to be the most advantageous to the City of Des Peres and to make such investigations as are deemed necessary to determine the ability of the vendor to perform the services requested. Should the contractor not deliver the concrete within the needed time period, the City reserves the right to utilize other suppliers for this service. 4. EXTRAS: No extra costs for this concrete or delivery will be allowed, including such items as fuel surcharges, etc. unless agreed upon in writing by the City in advance of such deliveries.
