The Department of Health Services is seeking input from potential Bidders/Proposers for the upcoming release of its CARES Request for Proposal (RFP). Prior to releasing the RFP, DHS is publishing a draft version of the RFP to offer interested parties an opportunity to provide input and for potential Bidders/Proposers, an opportunity to determine their ability to respond to the final RFP. DHS is interested in comments on the draft RFP; potential Bidders/Proposers should not provide actual responses to the RFP, nor submit an official response to the RFP. Specifically, DHS would like input from potential Bidders/Proposers to identify any of the following: Restrictive requirements (e.g., anything that could preclude all potential Bidders/Proposers from responding affirmatively). Requirements that are duplicative or unclear. Requirements that may have been overlooked but considered necessary by the industry to ensure DHS receives the best possible results from the RFP process. State-specific information that is missing or deficient to a level that would preclude potential Bidders/Proposers from responding to the RFP itself or in a complete and cost-effective manner.
