Normandale Community College is requesting proposals from Vendors to implement a cloud-hosted content management system that will be used to • Develop, manage, and publish the academic and non-academic portions of the annual college catalog and • Centralize, facilitate, and manage the college’s catalog of policies and procedures. The content management system should: • Cloud-Based and Vendor-Hosted: Provide a cloud-based and vendor-hosted catalog, with a page header and footer that duplicates those of Normandale Community College’s website to ensure a seamless viewer experience. • Template Capabilities: o Academic Catalog: Support templates for non-academic content, including paragraphs with headings, subheadings, tables, graphics, images, degree and academic program requirements, course descriptions, employee directories, and policies and procedures. o Policies and Procedures Catalog: Organize by chapter, policy, and procedure, with templates to create parts, subparts, descriptions, and sections reflecting dates of implementation, review, and updates. • User-Friendly Design: Be designed for non-programmers to create content without coding, preferably using a standard wordprocessing format. • Publishing Flexibility: Allow authorized users to publish the catalog in full or in part, at any time and without vendor assistance, to the web, Microsoft Word, and Adobe Acrobat (PDF). o Multiple Layouts: Support different layouts for various purposes, such as: o Full catalog for external audiences (e.g., Department of Veterans Affairs, accrediting agencies, College Source, and end users who prefer a print document). o Individual program sheets for marketing academic programs or for students to track. o Policies and procedures for sharing with stakeholders during policy review and responding to documentation requests...
