Task 1. Project Planning and Management - This task includes the overall communication and project management activities required to carry out a successful project. Specific activities will include: 1. Monthly meetings of key stakeholders (consultant to provide agenda and meeting minutes) 2. Coordination as needed with other planning efforts 3. Goal Setting and community input 4. Public milestone presentations and listening sessions. The consultant is expected to provide routine updates on progress, scheduling, etc. to include correspondence with LCVA and the County. Task 2. Watershed Assessment and Framework At the outset of this project, a rapid watershed assessment will be performed that considers the following, at a minimum: • surface water runoff patterns • groundwater/aquifer characteristics (assimilate prior work content and more here) • identification of existing infiltration areas • identification of likely and/or potential infiltration areas based on e.g., soil/geological characteristics • tributary streams geomorphology • floodplain areas • rock outcrops • springs and well locations • wetland and riparian vegetation (e.g., side slope % cover & condition)...
