SCOPE OF WORK OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE: Menard Correctional Center seeks a responsive bidder to provide a five (5) year Cascade System repair and maintenance and annual inspection contract for Menard Correctional Center. The Cascade system services 105 self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) tanks on grounds. SUPPLIES AND/OR SERVICES REQUIRED: The Vendor shall furnish skilled service, labor, materials, supplies, tools equipment, insurance permits, and fees (if any) necessary to accomplish annual inspection and repair and maintenance. The vendor shall provide annual inspection services to one (1) Cascade Air/Hydro System that fills SCBA tanks. The annual inspection and all repair and maintenance are to be performed during normal working hours of 7 A.M. to 3 P.M. Monday through Friday excluding holidays. The vendor shall ensure all work performed is in compliance with the manufacturer’s recommendations and is completed by skilled journeymen or technicians in accordance with all national, state, or county standards. The Vendor shall furnish all repair and replacement parts. Parts furnished shall be matched to the manufacturer’s published requirements. Instruction labels are to be replaced as needed during inspection. All materials provided by Vendor shall be new, unless otherwise stipulated, and compliant with applicable manufacturer’s specifications. The Vendor shall provide skilled labor for the routine maintenance and/or parts for the following services: Inspection, and repair and maintenance of Cascade Air/Hydro System.
