Contractor will be required to remove discarded passenger/light-duty vehicle tires, medium-duty and heavy-duty truck tires, off-road and construction equipment tires, passenger vehicle rims, truck and construction equipment rims (including medium-duty and heavy-duty truck rims), and other tires and/or rims smaller than passenger vehicle tires/rims from the PWA Corporation Yard on a regular and scheduled basis. PWA accumulates discarded tires that require removal and disposal. The Fleet Department replaces old, worn, and damaged tires on the equipment and vehicles they maintain. The Road Maintenance Department removes debris, including tires, from the County right of way. Tires are not easily disposed of at landfill sites and require removal from the PWA Corporation Yard by a third party.
