The project is located in the Town of Mansfield and consists of the new construction of a 10 foot-wide multi-use trail proposed along Storrs Road (CT-195) starting at the intersection of Storrs Road (CT-195) and Middle Turnpike (US-44) and ending at Tower Loop Road, which is part of the UConn campus, for a total length of approximately 4,800 feet. Storrs Road (CT195) is heavily traveled by commuters, university students and employees, and local residents and currently lacks a safe access way for pedestrians and bicyclists. The intersection of Middle Turnpike (US-44) and Storrs Road (CT-195), also known as Four Corners, is a destination for students and residents, including banking, medical care, dining, and shopping.
