Accessibility Review & Cost Estimation Conduct initial accessibility assessments for submitted documents. Provide clear, itemized cost estimates for each document or batch before remediation. Include estimated turnaround times based on document complexity and volume, and offer options for expedited processing. 3. Document Remediation Services Ensure PDFs meet the latest WCAG standards and PDF/UA guidelines and are compatible with assistive technologies (e.g., screen readers). Convert scanned images of text to searchable text with correct reading order. Correct logical structures, such as tab order, and accurately tag complex tables. Add alt text for images; notify the University if additional remediation is needed for complex visual images (e.g., STEAM content). Set file properties and address character encoding issues; notify the University if issues cannot be resolved within the PDF. Address mathematical content (e.g., MathML) and notify the University of any equations requiring additional remediation. Identify non-descriptive links in documents and alert the University. Flag color contrast issues that cannot be resolved through PDF remediation. 4.
