1. Purpose North Carolina State University seeks to establish a relationship with a qualified company (hereafter referred to as “supplier”) to assist the Athletic Department (hereafter referred to as “Athletics”) with booking non-athletic events, such as private corporate events, concerts and festivals, at Carter-Finley Stadium. The supplier will help NC State Athletics maximize entertainment revenue generation through event solicitation, production, planning, marketing, and related sponsorship sales. PREVIOUS SPECIAL EVENTS HOSTED BY NC STATE ATHLETICS ● 2023 NHL Stadium Series - 56,961 in attendance ● 2016 Beyonce Concert - 38,292 in attendance ● 2015 Rolling Stones Concert - 40, 428 in attendance ● 2011 Juventus vs. Guadalajara Friendly - 16,124 in attendance ● 2009 U2 Concert - 55,027 in attendance This relationship may include exclusions in the following categories of events hosted at and around Carter-Finley Stadium: ● Events arranged with the National Hockey League and its subsidiaries ● Events held on the footprint of the Carter-Finley concourse or TowneBank Center, not involving stadium seating ● NCHSAA, NCAA, ACC or NC State University sanctioned events ● Events previously hosted by NC State Athletics in the past 2 calendar years ● Events booked by NC State Athletics prior to contract execution as a result of this RFP ● Events held at the Lenovo Center and related facilities ● Describe your process for booking non-athletic events hosted in college football stadiums. ● Demonstrate your ability to negotiate with promoters for event bookings while working within parameters provided by the host venue. ● The proposal response must outline an implementation plan and a timeline for the execution from the anticipated award date of this RFP. 3.2. Event Promotion, Marketing and Sponsorship ● Promote the venue in event touring discussions, planning, and opportunities with touring decision makers. Describe and demonstrate how you communicate and coordinate these efforts. What technology do you use to promote events? ● Describe how you advise on sourcing and driving revenue through new hosting opportunities and related sponsorship sales. Describe your approach and demonstrate an understanding of corporate sponsor relationships and how you increase these opportunities. ● Describe how you develop comprehensive marketing plans for scheduled events while adhering to university brand marketing rules and policies. Describe how you develop these and identify any hurdles. ● Describe your approach to designing, marketing and selling premium services like VIP packages and suite sales in order to maximize revenue from events.
