The County is requesting qualifications from experienced individuals, firms, companies, or other entities to provide Architectural Services for Aransas County Aquarium Project, RFQ #2025-201 to Aransas County, Texas, which may include but is not limited to, creating architectural designs and schematics for the Aransas County Aquarium, providing professional services and advice, providing construction administration services, producing deliverables and more. Aransas County is anticipating the Aquarium at Rockport Harbor to be approximately 4,500 SF with public restroom facilities, a small gift shop, storage areas, aquarium tanks and equipment, and office space, all in compliance with local building codes, ADA compliance, and windstorm certifications. All designs should include but are not limited to, Aquarium structure, signage, lighting, plumbing, HVAC, electrical (power and data outlets), windstorm, and all permitting for construction. Coordinate design efforts with the Aransas County Navigation District, the City of Rockport, and the Rockport Heritage District Board for design approval.
