The objective of contracting for these services is to receive an unbiased, independent, and transparent review of PSC annual Communicator schedules and recommendations for alternative annual Communicator schedules. To meet the objective of this evaluation, the selected vendor will need to focus on a number of targeted actions, including but not limited to the following: A. Obtain general consensus from PSC Communicators, both represented and non-represented, on desired schedule pattern. B. Create schedule patterns that meet standards dictated by the National Fire Protection Association: 1. Answer requests for emergency assistance within 10 seconds 90% of the time 2. Process the request for emergency assistance within 60 seconds 90% of the time C. Evaluate any changes/updates that may be necessary to the 720 Employee Benefit Handbook (EBH) regarding Section 6; a: HOURS OF WORK/REST BREAKS/LUNCH PERIODS. D. Increase redundancy of scheduled staff to as close as possible to 35% to account for use of planned and unplanned time off (shrinkage).
