Anne Arundel County Public Schools (AACPS) is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide arts programs for PK-8th grade students at Community Schools, including English Learners and Special Education students. Preference will be given to qualified firms who are able to provide multilingual services. These programs will connect to students outside of school time and offer opportunities to pursue arts learning at 25SC-184 Arts Programs for Community Schools 14 | Page any point during the year, including the summer. AACPS is seeking in person arts programs only. Proposals for virtual programming wil not be accepted. Firms may propose out-of-school arts programs, summer programs, or both. Out of school programs are defined as programs that are available throughout a school year but are not during the school day. It does not require that the students participate for the entire year. Programs will be held at community school sites readily accessible to students. If transportation is proposed as part of the arts program, it must comply with all applicable State and local laws and policies.
