D. Purpose This RFP seeks to enter into a 5-year (60-month) agreement with a qualified vendor to provide managed copier, print, and scanning/document processing services for Orland School District 135. The contract is anticipated to be effective July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2030. The district’s desire is to maintain the footprint of the district’s current fleet of printers, copiers and multifunction devices while enhancing the end users’ efficiency including: ● Replacing current barcode readers at staff devices with RFID proximity swipe readers compatible with current district RFID building access cards ● Minimize the number of staff interface touches required to select and release stored print jobs. ● Minimize the number of student interface touches required to release stored print jobs. ● If possible, replace barcode readers at student printers for more efficient and economical solution ● Integrate an intelligent/AI-driven tool to scan and integrate document images and data into current and potential district data warehouses, such as Skyward, Infinite Campus, Tyler Tech ERP Pro, etc. Document examples include student and staff records and invoices.
