1. Knowledge and experience in diagnosing and repairing PLC's and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) related equipment. 2. Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures by hand or by using hand tools or power tools. 3. Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem. 4. Repairs and or installation of receptacles, switches, circuit breakers, transformers, lighting control systems, fire alarm systems, traffic light systems, irrigation systems and controllers or other components. 5. Power and conduit to other systems such as HVAC systems, electrical furnaces, generators, sewer pumps, security alarm systems or other equipment 6. Installation and commissioning of new equipment for upgrades and improvements 7. Inspections of electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and need for adjustment or repairs, and to ensure compliance with codes. 8. Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, amp meters, oscilloscopes, and test lamps to ensure compatibility and safety of system. 9. Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous. 10. Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes.
