The Contractor shall operate microtransit and paratransit services for Green Bay Metro in accordance with the specifications and requirements contained in this RFP. Microtransit: The service is a set origin to destination demand-responsive, rideshare microtransit service for persons who would like to utilize this service, and who may have disabilities which assists in providing access to various destinations and to the fixed route transit services offered by GBM. Many GBM On Demand origin and destinations are within steps of selected locations, however Contractor must have the ability to allow a curb-to-curb option when needed for passengers. The Contractor must implement, to the maximum extent possible, any cost saving measures that will not compromise the service. Examples include but are not limited to; provisions for realizing efficiencies by using logistics for shared trips, use of user-friendly applications and data sharing to brainstorm with Metro Transit personnel. Paratransit: The service is an origin to destination demand-responsive, limited advance reservation paratransit service for persons whose qualifying disabilities prevent their use of the fixed route transit services offered by Green Bay Metro.
