Troth Yeddha' Indigenous Studies Center and Park The Work will include construction of the Troth Yeddha’ Indigenous Studies Center (ISC), a key facility supporting the Alaska Native Success Initiative. The ISC will span approximately 40,300 gross square feet on three main levels, with a partial basement. The basement will house heating, electrical systems, and storage areas linked to The University’s utilidors. Levels 1 through 3 of the facility will contain classrooms, a teaching kitchen, research collaboration areas, and offices. The building’s steel frame, clad in wood and metal panels, will feature energy-efficient systems, including radiant in-slab heating and automated LED lighting. Site improvements will integrate vehicular access, and honor Indigenous heritage with landscaping that includes culturally significant plants, pathways, and features.
