Pre-Auction Tasks - Retrieve items from the OAG as directed. Store items in a safe and secure manner to prevent theft, including, but not limited to, alarm systems, keypads, lock and key, and climate-controlled environments for items susceptible to damage from temperature and humidity changes. Proposal must include the Contractor’s means of storing items and details on what safety measures will be available. 4.2.1.1.2 Identify, appraise and inventory all items that have been picked up from the OAG. If an item requires proof of authenticity, Contractor will be responsible for procuring applicable documentation or certification of authenticity. Contractor may use a third-party appraisal service to authenticate items but must provide the third party’s name, business information, and any applicable certifications before appraisal. 4.2.1.1.3 Prepare a detailed report of all appraised items not requiring third party appraisal or certification and submit it to the Contract Manager no less than 60 calendar days after Contractor has retrieved items from the OAG.
