a. Represent HAME and its affiliates, an as independent contractor, for the purpose of advocating its state, county, and city funding goals and priorities to state, county, and city agencies and their staff as well as state, county, and city-level elected officials and their staff. b. Identify, advise, and assist HAME in identifying and developing state, county, and city funding opportunities in addition to developing and implementing strategies for successfully securing funds through those opportunities for housing programs, housing related infrastructure, and/or economic development projects. c. Assist HAME and its affiliates with applying for or otherwise pursuing the available funding. d. Recommend and obtain the support of key state, county, and city agencies and their staff as well as state, county and city-level elected or appointed officials and their staff related to the City's state and local funding goals and priorities. e. Analyze and advise on state legislation and regulations, as well as local policies and codes that may impact HAME/s state, county, and city funding goals and priorities.
