The scope of work for this project is to perform clearing and snagging maintenance work in the drainage canals in St. John the Baptist Parish. This clearing and snagging work shall be performed on an as-needed basis only and no minimum expenditure is guaranteed under this contract. Payment for work performed shall be on a linear foot unit price basis. It is intended to issue task orders as needed to perform maintenance clearing and snagging at various locations in St. John the Baptist Parish. This contract will be utilized by St. John the Baptist Parish to complete all work in accordance with the Contract Documents. This project consists of furnishing all supervision, labor, equipment, materials, and any other resources necessary to complete the work per the pay items indicated in the bid form. Contractors submitting bids shall be licensed under LA R.S. 37:2150-2164, Municipal & Public Works Construction and/or Heavy Construction.
