Work covers all labor and materials for the complete installation of Synthetic Ivy on existing Sound Walls along State Right of Way. 7. Contract requires Contractor finish and install Synthetic Ivy and traffic control. Comply with the 2024 Oregon Standard Specifications. 8. Synthetic Ivy Product: Turf & Ivy Solutions Simplico Ivy or approved equal. 9. Submittals: Requests for substitutions shall be submitted seven (7) days prior to the bid closing date for consideration and shall include enough information to demonstrate the alternate equipment is of equal or greater quality and material as noted in the attached material cut sheet and the list below. a. Low-Density Polyethylene Resin – 100% recycled b. ESK-NHF synthetic flame -retardant NHF-68L c. Ultraviolet Blocking Chemicals d. High Strength Grid and Leaf Clusters e. Minimum expected Life of 3 years 10. Install Synthetic Ivy per the manufacturer’s specifications on the lower 7 feet of the selected walls at each location. 11. Installer must be certified by the manufacturer. 12. Provide a monthly maintenance service which includes: a. Monthly physical inspection for wear and tear b. Re-securing tile ivy where needed c. Fastner maintenance, including checks and re-attachment if required. d. Debris and dust removal from ivy surface. e. Materials for maintenance included (fasteners, ivy material-leaf and clusters).
