To repair asphalt and restripe 12 locations at the South Admin Complex per the project requirements provided below: a. Contractor to repair asphalt in twelve (12) locations, see Exhibit “1”. b. Remove and properly dispose of asphalt and replace with new Highway grade asphalt to support heavy bus traffic. Contractor to provide necessary FDOT approved base rock fill, grading and compacting for accommodating new asphalt where needed. c. Restripe the entry driveway’s lane markings leading from public street, (South Congress Avenue) using current FDOT turning lane specifications. d. All areas to receive new striping to be pressure washed and prepared as required to remove all dirt and contaminants prior to placement of new materials. e. All striping, directional arrows, chevrons, fire lanes, stop bars directional striping will be thermos-plastic and the balance in traffic paint per the latest FDOT specifications. f. All work must be coordinated with the project manager and may require phasing. Any areas that will be closed for extended periods must be approved in advance of the commencement of work. g. Restore all damage caused by repairing and/or replacing asphalt, inclusive of but not limited to landscaping, irrigation and sidewalks. h. Contractor will be responsible for the removal of all trash and for the delivery of all materials to the designated work areas as needed throughout the project. i. Contractor to repair approximately 57,400 square feet of asphalt (Exhibit 2) Areas in yellow are original locations gathered by FMD South. Red areas are new additional areas to be repaired that have been approved by CID & FMD. j. Contractor to repair road ways in accordance with Topic #625-010-002 from Flexible Pavement Design Manuel (Exhibit 3 & 4). Both outlining design standards and recommended specifications.
