The City of Somerville, Massachusetts is seeking to install electric vehicle supply equipment at approximately 2-4 Ibbetson Street, Somerville, MA. Through previous procurement processes, the City has acquired a dual-port CP6000 series station. Through this procurement, the City seeks to engage the services of qualified professional EVSE installation firms to prepare the site at 2-4 Ibbetson Street, including necessary upgrades to the nearby electrical panel, and install the station at that site. Task List 1. Prepare engineering design documents for EVSE installation process, including, at a minimum: a. One-line electrical drawing depicting station’s electrical system b. Civil plan depicting station location and utilities 2. Lead permit application process with the City’s Inspectional Services & Engineering Departments, which include: a. Engineering Street Occupancy permit, which requires a civil plan showing location of utilities to be installed and verification that pedestrian accessibility will be maintained. b. Traffic Management Plan (TMP) that shows how impacts to pedestrians and vehicles will be managed during construction process 3. Site preparation for EVSE a. Upgrade electrical panel at intersection from existing 100A Cab Sub Panel to 150A, 120/240V, 1-Phase Panel. See attached panel capacity analysis in the “Somerville Public Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) Siting Strategy Report” excerpt for reference. b. Install cabling and concrete pad for connection of EVSE to the upgraded panel. 4. Install CP6000 station to the prepared site and connect to the Chargepoint system
