The 2025 pavement preservation program consists of preserving 972,520 square yards (SY) of roadway utilizing (Quickseal (Western Emulsions) 391,056 SY), polymer modified master seal (PMM 501,130 SY), rubberized pre-coated chip seal (67,961 SY) and double shot conventional chip seal (12,373) SY. Camino de Oeste between Corte Sombra de Tecolote and Camino de Oeste currently is a dirt road. This contract shall survey the ROW and regrade a 24’ roadway and chip seal. The chip seal shall be a double shot conventional chip. The same treatment shall be applied for approximately 600 lf north of Camino de manana. The final roadway shall have 2 - 11’ travel lanes with edge line stripes and double yellow center markings. Surveyor shall layout ROW and roadway centerline prior to grading. Striping will be based of roadway centerline. Silverbell road currently has a cattle guard just west of Sanders Road. Please include all costs to remove, dispose, compact and patch with AC in the provided line item. The cattle guard dimensions are 8’ x 40’. Massingale road has large elevated chipped shoulders. This contract shall chip only the roadway, excluding shoulders. Chip shall extend to the railroad ROW. A railroad permit may be needed working adjacent to their facilities.
