SCOPE OF WORK: I. Overview. Furnish and deliver one (1) aerator as specified herein for the Department of Environmental Services, City and County of Honolulu, Honolulu, Hawaii. The aerator will be used at Kahuku Waste Treatment Plant in the secondary treatment process to create aeration for the biologicals. II. Minimum Specifications. A. Brand, Model: Flygt, NS3153.185 or approved substitute B. Type: Submersible, with motor built-in C. Construction: Hard iron D. Discharge: 6 inches E. Impeller Diameter: 217 mm F. Revolutions per Minute: 1755 rpm G. Rated Horsepower: 15 H. Hertz/Phase: 60/3 I. Volts: 460 J. Accessories: The aerator shall include the following accessories: Jet aerator, JA117-S6-3153-435SS, part number 7275750* Pump protection relay, MiniCAS/FUS, part number 14-407129* Fluid leak sensor 50 feet power cable *the part numbers indicated above are Flygt. K. Other Items: Any and all other standard items of equipment, components and accessories as listed in the manufacturer’s specifications and/or brochures for a complete operating unit, whether specified herein or not, shall be included. L. Manuals: The Contractor shall provide one (1) set of each, operation, maintenance, and parts (if applicable). M. Warranty: The warranty shall be the manufacturer’s standard warranty or a period of one (1) year; whichever is longer, against any factory defects. The Contractor shall furnish a copy of the warranty upon delivery. N. Safety Requirements: Shall meet all applicable Federal, State, and City safety requirements.
