We prefer to hire a vendor whose program leads to industry-recognized certifications that are already fully developed and used by an existing client base. The desired system should not require support from our internal IT staff. At this time, we are not interested in supporting the development of a fully custom-built system. The online career-focused non-credit education solution should include the following: 1. Course Content and Certification: 1. Updated to meet professional demands and career opportunities. 2. Prepare participants for appropriate industry-recognized certification, when applicable. 3. Meet any relevant state or federal requirements for education. 2. Student Support: 1. Provide support on course material, IT issues, career development, employment assistance, and financial support or payment plans relative to the academic intensity and cost of the program. 3. Customer Support: 1. Offer timely support for processing registrations, resolving issues, and handling refunds (as applicable). 2. Communicate any changes promptly. 4. Additional Provisions: 1. Supply all required course materials. 2. Use reasonable efforts to provide an externship (if paid for). 3. Allow course registration cancellation within a 14-day period after initial registration without any premium or penalty.
