Colorado Parks and Wildlife will conduct and partner on large scale cheatgrass control projects to enhance grassland habitats in eastern Colorado. The projects will treat grassland habitat infested with cheatgrass using indaziflam herbicide, specifically and solely marketed under the brand name Rejuvra, to enhance grasslands for a variety of wildlife species. This product has been approved as a Brand Name Specification for solicitation for this project. There is currently no alternative herbicide labeled or effective for the purposes of this project and Rejuvra is the sole available indaziflam product labeled by the EPA for this use. It is anticipated that the project will require a minimum of 47.5 gallons of herbicide annually and an estimated maximum of 100 gallons annually, but CPW reserves the right to place orders from one or more awarded vendors at any volume on an as-needed basis.
