The City of Greenville is requesting bids from qualified contractors for the repair of an existing pedestrian bridge at the Greenville Convention Center, located in Greenville, SC and owned by the City of Greenville. The bridge was recently partially demolished to expose structural members. The proposed scope of work includes the structural repair of steel beams, new concrete deck surface, masonry work, shoring, sandblasting etc. The scope of services is outlined more clearly in the drawings included herewith and/or herein. The project will be administered and managed by the City of Greenville. The contractor chosen to complete the work will be responsible for providing all materials and labor needed to complete the job. It is the contractor’s responsibility to visit the site and review all plans. It is also the contractor’s responsibility to ensure all material used for application and all equipment used for application meet City requirements. Contractor is responsible for providing test results from a 3rd Party Geotechnical Engineer as required by drawings for items such as bearing pressure, concrete mix etc. Results should be provided to Owner/Engineer for review.
