The City of Maysville is seeking a qualied entrepreneur for operating a restaurant, bakery and/or food service and preferred educational and/or small event space. Said business shall be located on the 1st floor of the historic Cox Building, located at 2 East Third Street in downtown Maysville. The space contains approximately 5,000 sq ft and has previously been utilized as a restaurant, bakery, and educational space. • The City desires a restaurant, food service, and/or educational/event space to be located on the 1st oor of the historic Cox Building. This space was previously utilized by Maysville Community/Technical College for their culinary program. • Operating hours and expected customer base. The restaurant shall be open a minimum of six days per week and at least eight hours per day. • Preference will be given to entities that that utilize at least 30% of local sources. • Maintenance and cleanliness standards. Restaurant shall adhere to all state and local health department standards. General maintenance of the space shall be negotiated between the City and the lessee.
