The Village of Estero (“Village”) is seeking a qualified firm to complete a Planning Study and Master Plan covering approximate 750-acre/1.12-square mile area that includes properties along US 41 from south of Estero Parkway to South of Williams Road, (“Study Area”) including the Koreshan State Park and Village’s Property along the Estero River (Map attached as Appendix A). This area of the Village developed decades ahead of the rest of the Village. Unlike other areas within the Village that have benefitted from detailed master planning and integrated development plans, the Study Area has remained largely underdeveloped, lacking a cohesive plan and the necessary infrastructure and services critical for development. Qualified candidates will be experienced in land planning to encourage economic development, community revitalization, and resilience. The planning efforts will be completed in a collaborative manner that involves a diverse group of stakeholders.
