1. Scope of Services The City is requesting Bids for two 80,000 lb. GVW Pull Trucks for use by the Water and Sewer Department of the City of Tulsa. This Specification is for a new current year Peterbilt or Kenworth 80,000 lb. GVW cab chassis Pull truck. Other manufacturers will not be considered. Truck is to be used in the land application of Bio-solids. 1. 120-inch BBC minimum, aluminum, or steel cab. 2. Air ride cab. 3. Bug screen mounted behind grill. 4. Dual air horns. Cab mounted. 5. Factory electric horns. 6. Day time running lights. 7. Mirrors: A. Exterior, remote controlled, heated. Breakaway type, 7-inches x 15-inches approx. with 7-inch large convex mirror mounted on each side of the cab. B. Convex mirror mounted at top of passenger side door pointed downward. C. Exterior: 7-inch round convex mirror mounted on each side of the hood. 8. Power windows. 9. Interior silencing package inside the cab to reduce interior decibel level to below 80 decibels. 10. Exterior sunshade across the front of the windshield at the top. 1. Diesel Engine Manufacturer. Cummins preferred. 2024 Greenhouse gases complaint. 2. Horsepower rating min. 500. 3. Torque Rating min. 1850 lb./ft. 4. Engine Volume: 14.8 Liter displacement minimum. 5. Engine compression and exhaust brake with controls on the dash. Off – Low – High. 6. Radiator; largest available. 7. Air type fan with nylon blades preferred. 8. Electronic engine shutdown, derate system for low oil pressure, coolant temperature, and coolant level. 9. Electronic PTO provisions programmed for proper application with engine overspeed protection for PTO. 10. Block heater 110 volts 1000 watt. Plug in labeled and located under driver’s door. 11.
