The City is requiring bid prices on the purchase of four (4) traffic signal poles and mast arms of various lengths for an intersection in the City. Also included in bid price is providing the required luminaire arms, decorative pole bases, decorative pole tops, anchor bolts, and any other miscellaneous items needed for assembly. All work shall be in accordance with the City‘s Engineering Design and Construction Manual and the latest AASHTO standards. Design drawings shall be submitted and approved by the City prior to fabrication taking place. All components shall have a smooth, powder coated, gloss black finish. Details for the poles can be found in the attached Traffic Signal Layout Sheet, and the Standard Details sheets. The pole and mast arm design shall take into account the weights and locations shown on the plans for 3- section signal heads, 5-section signal heads, video detection cameras, illuminated street signs, and other noted signage.
