This project at the Southwest Florida International Airport is for the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) facility at their Federal Inspection Station (FIS). This project is designed to upgrade the technology for the FIS, while also renovating to allow for the space to become more functional, efficient, and up to date. This project will include demolition of the existing technology, installation and testing of a new Video Surveillance System (VSS), procurement installation, and programming of a new VSS Host Server, a new One-Way Glazed Storefront System, the renovation and build out of the detention suite, relocation of the Ag Lab, rerouting of plumbing, new access control system, installation of a new intrusion detection system, converting the outbound interview rooms, securing the secondary exit, and a new secondary processing podium.
