Program Overview. The Contractor shall provide goods, services, or deliverables for the Item and Test Form development (“AD”) and delivery, Administration, Scoring and Reporting (“AL”) of the State’s Assessment Program outlined in this Contract for all public schools, State Special Schools, approved private schools, juvenile detention centers, and home-schooled students. Unless otherwise indicated, all requirements of this Contract shall apply to all Assessments.. a. Assessment Program. The Contractor shall develop and administer Assessments required under the Title I requirements of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 ("ESEA"), the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act ("IDEA"), the Every Student Succeeds Act of 2015 ("ESSA"); and Tennessee law, including State Board of Education rules and policies. The State’s current Assessment Program includes the following Assessments: 1) Achievement (TCAP/ACH) Assessments shall be administered in grades 3-8 English/Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies. 2) End-of-course (TCAP/EOC) Assessments shall be required for specified secondary Content Areas, which are English I, English II, Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Integrated Math I, Integrated Math II, Integrated Math Ill, Biology, and U.S. History. 3) Alternate (TCAP/Alternate) Assessments in science shall be required in grades 3-8 and in social studies in grade 6-8. Assessments shall be required once in science in high school. Assessments in Grade 2 English/Language Arts and Math. 4) Grade Two (TCAP/Grade 2) Assessments are optional, subject to the State's written election, and made available in math and ELA for general education.
