5.1 Broker shall consult, develop, and represent Forsyth County Schools (FCS) insurance program to include: 5.1.1 Development of strategies for placement that best protects and leverages FCS interest within the insurance marketplace. 5.1.2 Advise and assist FCS in assembly and accurate reporting underwriting data for solicitation, renewal and rating purposes. 5.1.3 Market and solicit for optimal insurance products and coverages and assist in the proper coverage selection in a consultative manner to insure the optimal balance of coverage, deductibles, limits, and all other pertinent considerations. 5.1.4 Assists in contract development and execution between FCS and selected insurance products and companies. 5.1.5 Review coverage documents against invoices and claims to ensure accuracy of services, collection, reporting, and billing. 5.1.6 Provide periodic market analysis of trends and developments to reduce and/or avoid potential gaps or overlaps in coverage. 5.1.7 Assist FCS staff on strategies and plans to mitigate risk internally, including safety and loss control, and fulfillment of annual service obligations of the district. 5.1.8 Issue Certificates of Insurance to third parties as applicable and maintain a complete and updated registry. 5.1.9 Participate in periodic insurance reviews with FCS staff to discuss risk management, claims management, and other issues deemed pertinent. Submit a more in-depth annual review to FCS highlighting all material elements of the risk management program. 5.1.10 Assist in all required reporting with the State of Georgia or any other entity as required by contract, code, law, or statute. 5.1.11 Assist with applicable audits including the preparation of annual financial disclosures 5.2 Insurance Placement Expectations- Broker shall represent the best interest of all FCS stakeholders in the solicitation, negotiation, and product selection for FCS for the following coverages including, but not limited to Auto Liability, General Liability, School Leaders Legal Liability, Cyber Liability/Data Compromise, Educators Liability, Excess Work Comp, Drone, and property including Equipment Breakdown, Terrorism, and Crime Insurance. 5.3 Claims Advocacy5.3.1 Broker shall participate in claims review meeting to ensure accuracy of programs 5.3.2 Broker shall coordinate claim information with designated adjusters 5.3.3 Broker shall assist with claim and coverage disputes 5.4 Workers Compensation- Broker shall assist in all aspects of the development, implementation, and management of the workers compensation Excess Insurance for FCS. 5.5 Broker Compensation- It is expected that all Broker compensation will be paid on a fee basis only. All costs and expenses associated with meeting the requirements of this contract must be included in comprehensive fee.
