3.1 General Requirements 1. All machines installed must be new, or like new in good mechanical condition, clean and undamaged inside and outside and of reputable manufacture. New machines that are developed, proven, and become available shall be put in service to assure that all machines are constantly updated. 2. Comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations as they pertain to products under this solicitation to include manufacturing, delivery, and technical support. 3. The vending machines to be delivered within 5 weeks of Vendor Receipt of Purchase Order. 4. Have an internal plan that addresses the quality of customer service provided to SCCB that includes but is not limited to the following: a. Satisfaction with and complaints about product(s); b. Timeliness of response to the SCCB questions, problems, and concerns and access to technical support; c. Mechanisms for identifying, monitoring, and reporting equipment / product failure, repair, and maintenance, for products delivered; d. Financial management practices that ensure accurate accounting and billing to SCCB. 3.2 Product Requirements 1. Provide a current published catalog(s) or published website of products that include a broad spectrum of vending machines available in all or any of the categories listed in 2.3 2. Ensure that all products are new, in ongoing production. Factory seconds will not be accepted. Any remanufactured products offered shall be clearly marked as such in the catalog/website description and will not be accepted, unless specifically requested by the SCCB. 3. Vending machines shall not be specific to a product line and shall be capable of vending, but not be limited to, branded beverages. 3.3 Product Safety. All products shall: 1. Be authorized for sale in the United States and have the original manufacturer’s serial number which shall not have been altered in any way, and 2. Meet Federal, State and local standards for quality, health, effectiveness and safety requirements; Products not meeting these standards will be deemed unacceptable and returned to the Contractor at no charge for credit to the SCCB.
