1. Administrative: 1.1. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines set by the State. 1.2. Ensure confidentiality and maintain security by following State protocol. 1.3. Provide services on an as-needed basis in response to requests from the State. 1.4. Demonstrate technical proficiency with transcription software (ExpressScribe), word processing software (MS Word), Outlook, SharePoint, and C2t. 1.5. Use tools within ExpressScribe or equivalent software and utilize noise-canceling headphones for optimal audio clarity. 1.6. Demonstrate fluency in English and the capability to understand various accents in audio recordings. 1.7. Type quickly and accurately, while demonstrating a strong attention to detail. 1.8. Communicate effectively and ask questions proactively. 2. Deliverables: 2.1. Provide the State with complete and accurate transcriptions of audio recordings for appeal and board hearings. 2.1.1. Proofread transcriptions for correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling before sending to the board clerk. In addition, the Contractor should double-check docket numbers, claimant and employer names on caption of report, and names of who is speaking and when. 2.1.2. Follow specific formatting and notation guidelines. For instance, do not to type er, um, uh and type “inaudible” if anything is unintelligible after reviewing several times. 2.2. Transcription orders should be organized by date of appeal, beginning with the oldest first. 2.3. Submit final transcript in .pdf format to board clerk via SharePoint or Outlook. Transcriptions should be sent upon completion, not to exceed one week from the time the Contractor receives the recording
