I. SERVICES REQUESTED The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services, Waste Management Division (NHDES) is seeking the services of four or more companies to perform on-call (24-hour per day, 7 days per week) emergency response for oil and hazardous material spills and non-emergency, planned remediation at contaminated sites. The work will be conducted on a job-order basis at locations throughout New Hampshire under NHDES direction and supervision. The scope of work covered in Exhibit B of the contract will include, but not be limited to, the following response, remediation, and prevention categories: 1) On-Premise-Use Heating Oil Spills. 2) Planned Remediation at Contaminated Sites. 3) Removal of Underground and Aboveground Storage Tanks. 4) Motor Vehicle Accidents. 5) Containment, Transportation and Disposal of Unknown Wastes. 6) Solid Waste and Hazardous Material Incidents. 7) Recovery of Submerged Petroleum Powered Vehicles and Petroleum Containers. 8) Response to Oil Spills in Swift Water Environments. 9) Clandestine Drug Labs. 10) Incident Command System Operations, Terrorist Incidents and Disaster Response. For each work assignment, the selected companies will follow NHDES Performance Standards to achieve sitespecific remediation goals. Selected companies are expected to respond to an incident with the necessary personnel and equipment, to effectively handle the conditions in a timely, safe and responsible manner. In an emergency response situation, the selected companies will be expected to be on-site with the necessary personnel and equipment within a time period agreed upon with NHDES.
