The City of Sunrise is soliciting quotes for the repair of electric gates at various locations throughout the City, on an as needed basis. Currently, the Utilities department has twenty-two (22) electric gates. Please refer to list of locations below for additional details. Contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, tools, transportation, insurances, licenses, permits (if required) and incidentals necessary to perform the requested services. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to provide sufficient manpower to perform the work safely and expeditiously acceptable to the City in accordance with the terms, conditions and scope of services herein. Contractor shall quote a firm, fixed price for the items listed in the Bid Sheet. Prices shall include all costs associated with the products and services being solicited including labor, materials, equipment, permits, supplies, incidentals, taxes, insurance, miscellaneous costs, and overhead/profit required to complete work. Prices shall be shown in both unit amounts and extensions whenever applicable. In the event of discrepancies existing between unit amounts and extensions or totals, unit amounts shall govern. The City shall not pay for travel time to or from the work site. The City shall only pay the appropriate hourly rate commencing when the Contractor’s personnel reports to the City’s authorized representative and ending when the work is completed. Any costs related to travel time shall be included in the proposed hourly rate. Contractor’s hourly rates shall include full compensation for labor, equipment use, travel time and any other cost (including overhead and profit) to the Contractor. Travel time shall not be counted in service time.
