The City of Cambridge is seeking services to maintain, remove and replace decorative string lights and grapevine ball lighting on the City’s street trees. Contractor shall monitor, maintain, remove and replace decorative LED string lights on City owned street trees in Cambridge MA. The work includes monitoring and maintaining decorative lighting on trees. Maintenance includes identifying and replacing malfunctioning lights and grapevine balls as well as correcting any issues relating to outlets and extension cords. Contractor shall notify the City of any repairs. Contractor shall then remove and dispose of existing string lights and grapevine ball lighting that are no longer functional. Removed lights and lighting will be disposed of off-site in a legal manner. Contractor shall safely remove existing lights preventing damage to the trees. Contractor shall then replace new lights and grapevine balls on trees making sure to prevent any damage to the trees. Contractor shall supply the string lights, grapevine balls and extension cords and any equipment to install decorative tree lights safely and efficiently. Contractor shall inspect the lights once a month.
