4. SPECIFICATIONS The Kansas Department of Education is seeking competitive proposals from qualified vendors to perform state advisor duties for Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA). The purpose of the program is to provide FBLA students with opportunities to develop and hone academic, technical, employability, and leadership skills through various conferences and competitions. 4.3 Services to be Provided • Coordinating and managing all regional and state FBLA events • Attending national FBLA should Kansas students qualify • Training of state officers • Guiding and supporting local chapter advisors • Develop, grow, and lead the Kansas FBLA Board of Directors 4.5 Deliverables The vendor shall provide: • In conjunction with the Kansas FBLA Board of Directors, provide financial oversight of Kansas o FBLA funds including, but not limited to, regular financial reports, tax filings and audits • Regular quarterly progress reports to the KSDE (Assistant Director of CTE, lead consultant and o lead administrative assistant) including updates on student membership, local chapter totals, results of local, regional, state, and national FBLA events, financial reports, etc. • Create and maintain a Kansas FBLA website complete with events calendar and resources for o student members and chapter advisors. • Provide leadership and training to state student officers, chapter advisors and Kansas Board of o Directors.
