Specialized glass installation and repair duties for school and Town buildings Removing and replacing existing glass for items including, but not limited to, window glass, tabletop glass, passageway door glass, mirrors, glass supplies, and any additional glass-related materials. This will include single, double, triple pane glass, and more as required. The Contractor shall remove the damaged glass from the entire glass frame and dispose of the material in a legal and environmentally safe manner. The Contractor shall not use any Town dumpsters, trash bins, or the contracted services to dispose of the material unless directed to do so by Town representatives. All window frames shall be cleaned of any debris prior to replacement. The replacement/repair of any glass shall be free of water leaks using proper glazing sealants, adhesives, and other standard methods of weatherproofing. Repairs shall be guaranteed to not leak for one full year from the date of the repair. All areas disturbed in the performance of this contract will be restored to the original conditions. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to repair any damages incurred in any areas directly related to their assigned work. When damages occur, the Town is to be notified and shall inspect the repairs upon completion.
