1.2.1. The service provider shall provide veterinarian assistance as necessary for any RCW injured during the service provider activities, and processing of dead RCW’s encountered during research activities in accordance with current Federal Endangered Species permits. 1.2.2. The service provider shall follow US Fish and Wildlife Service guidelines to handle RCW carcasses found during or as a part of research activities. Auburn shall notify the Endangered Species Branch (ESB) immediately and provide a written mortality report describing the circumstances under which the individual was found within 2 working days. 1.2.3 The service provider shall document and report endangered species violations to Fort Liberty Military police officials (911 emergency; 910-907-4815 non-emergency dispatch) and the ESB (910) 396-2544 the same working day. The service provider shall document activities using the Government furnished Endangered Species Incident Report template and forward electronically to the ESB. 1.2.4. The service provider shall have communications between field crews and the Government, specifically Range Control (910) 432-1161. The service provider shall be responsible for accomplishing all work in a timely and professional manner. 1.2.5. All red-cockaded woodpecker data shall be provided using Fort Liberty cluster numbers on Global Position System (UTM referenced) Map provided by ESB 1.2.6. All deliverables shall be in most recent Microsoft software, including Word, Access, and Excel, unless otherwise directed by ESB POC 1.2.7. All monitoring activities shall occur on Fort Liberty, Camp Mackall, and nearby Cumberland County clusters located in the North Carolina Sandhills. The following counties encompass the area in which monitoring activities shall take place: Cumberland, Harnett, Hoke, Moore, Richmond, and Scotland County.
