Project Description: Complete repairs necessary to structures that will be painted through a separate painting project Existing Conditions: Comfort stations and Pavilions need to be repaired before the painting project begins (separate project) Base Bid: Waimea Canyon Lookout (base bid, line item 1): Comfort station #1 (both men & women’s structure) -Replace (2) partition doors (One each in the men & women’s restrooms) -Partition doors: match existing, replace jam/hardware if damaged Men’s comfort station #2 -Replace (1) exterior door -(solid core) and hardware, jam if damaged, add hasp latch to match adjacent exterior door Pu’u Ka Pele Picnic Area: Pavilion/Comfort Station (base bid, line item 2) -Replace window security screen in men’s restroom --Match existing material and installation at adjacent window. Window security screen shall be galvanized Pu’u Ka Pele Picnic Area (base bid, line item 2): Pavilion/Comfort Station -Install door at storage area between men’s and women’s restroom --Add door (solid core), deadbolt, match existing door pull on adjacent doors, right hand reverse swing -Replace wood railing at (2) sections, approximately 20 LF -Replace (4) vertical railing supports, approximately 12 LF Pu’u Hinahina Lookout (base bid, line item 1): Comfort station -Replace (1) partition door & hinge in women’s restroom - -match existing door and hardware -Fix broken ceramic tile on stall partition, match existing or equal, in women's restroom Koke’e Pavilion (base bid, line item 1): -Remove existing opaque plexi glass at men’s & women’s restrooms -Install new window security screen in men’s & women’s restrooms --Match expanded metal at Pu’u Ka Pele comfort station restroom windows. Window security screen shall be galvanized -Replace 1”x10” fascia at perimeter of comfort station/pavilion, approximately 260 LF, paint replaced fascia -Replace electrical breakers at electrical panel (3) 20A twin breakers Koke’e Comfort Station (base bid, line item 1): -Replace (2) exterior restroom doors -Replace (1) partition door in women’s restroom -Replace broken, and install new where missing – privacy slats at shower windows in men’s & women’s restroom - Replace (2) 4”x4” posts at men's restroom entrance -Replace bottom rail at men’s restroom entrance
